THE STEPHEN NIKLEVA BAND

Vancouver's own Stephen Nikleva is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist with a rich history of collaboration, having toured and recorded with Canadian artists like Sarah McLachlan, Ray Condo, and Lache Cercel. His 2015 solo debut, Square Moon (Northern Electric Sound), was praised for its "pure retro fun with a sparkly nitro finish" by the Georgia Straight. Nikleva's sound is a sophisticated blend of 1950s and '60s guitar instrumental homage, infused with elements of jazz, country, and rockabilly, showcasing a masterful command of reverb and tone. Expect nuanced, technically impressive performances.
