JIMMY BALDWIN BAND

Vancouver's own Jimmy Baldwin leads his eponymous band, known for a soulful hybrid of country-rock and R&B he calls 'Country-Soul'. Having released his debut album, Changing Time, in 2013, and his sophomore effort, Lighthouse, in 2020, Baldwin is also a co-founding member of the Afro-beat funk collective Camaro 67. His guitar work assimilates elements of country, blues, jazz, funk, R&B, and West African forms, all delivered with a charismatic and joyful stage presence. Expect a blend of lonesome ballads and funky, up-tempo rockers.
