TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: April 2026

Agreement

By creating an account or using The Lineup (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

What The Lineup Does

The Lineup is a concert discovery service that aggregates public event listings from third-party sources and matches them to your music preferences. We are not a ticket seller. When you click a ticket link, you are taken to a third-party platform (Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, etc.) to complete your purchase. We have no control over their pricing, availability, or policies.

Event Data Accuracy

Event information (dates, prices, venues, availability) is sourced from third parties and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, or sold out without our knowledge. Always verify details on the official ticket platform before purchasing.

We make reasonable efforts to keep listings current but provide no warranty that any information is accurate or up to date.

Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time from the rotation page, which permanently removes all your data.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes (e.g., scraping, automated access beyond normal use).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service beyond normal personal use.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

Intellectual Property

Event data, artist bios, images, and related metadata are sourced from third parties and remain the property of their respective owners. The Lineup’s scoring algorithms, design, and original content are our intellectual property.

Your rotation data (artists, preferences, saved events) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

Monetization

The Lineup does not currently use affiliate links or earn commissions from ticket sales. All ticket links go directly to the original ticket platform. If this changes in the future, we will update these terms and clearly identify any affiliate links. Monetization will never influence which events are recommended to you — scoring is based solely on your rotation and preferences.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lineup and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: missed events, incorrect pricing, cancelled shows, or third-party ticket purchases.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
