SPIRIT VOICES

"Spirit Voices" is a folk opera that delves into the story of intergenerational trauma, triggered by the experiences of a Ukrainian immigrant in Canada in 1909. The work-in-progress explores themes of healing and ancestral connection, following a granddaughter's realization that her chronic illness stems from her grandmother's past hardships. This narrative is brought to life through a blend of storytelling and original music, offering a poignant and reflective experience.
