PERCUSSION DUO

Vancouver Pro Musica presents Percussion Duo, featuring local percussionists Greg Samek and Niki Hung, who are set to premiere seven new works by BC composers. Samek, a veteran of international tours with Scrap Arts Music, and Hung, with a Master of Music from the Royal College of Music in London, bring a wealth of experience to contemporary classical and experimental music. Their performances highlight the expansive and often unexpected sonic possibilities of percussion, from intricate rhythms to resonant textures. Expect a diverse program that showcases percussive innovation and local talent.
