JEREMY LEDBETTER & CANEFIRE

Toronto-based pianist and composer Jeremy Ledbetter formed CaneFire in 2005, a Caribbean jazz powerhouse known for its dynamic fusion of Cuban rhythms, modern jazz, and Caribbean traditions. Their sound is distinguished by the prominent and unconventional use of the steelpan, often taking a leading role alongside horns. CaneFire has released two albums, Kaiso Blue (2006) and Pandemonium (2010), and has toured internationally.
