HOLY WAVE

Austin, Texas's Holy Wave has spent over a decade crafting their distinctive brand of psychedelic rock, with their 2014 album Relax on The Reverberation Appreciation Society and Burger Records solidifying their sound. Composed of multi-instrumentalists Ryan Fuson, Kyle Hager, Joey Cook, and Julian Ruiz, the band's latest album, i'm DADA, released in July 2026 on Suicide Squeeze, features more loops, samples, and hypnotic grooves, with contributions from Lorelle Meets the Obsolete. Their music blends dreamy shoegaze and reverb-soaked garage rock with a persistent, thoughtful hum of low-budget organ and fuzzy guitar textures. It's a journey into expansive, moodily relaxed soundscapes.
