FAREED HAQUE & GORDON GRDINA

Chicago-born guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque, known for his work with Sting's Pangaea label and multiple Blue Note releases, joins forces with Vancouver's Juno Award-winning guitarist and oud player Gordon Grdina. Haque, whose debut Voices Rising was released in 1988, has a style steeped in classical and jazz traditions, while Grdina's sound, showcased on his 2018 Juno-winning album China Cloud, blends avant-garde jazz with Arabic and world music influences.
