BUENA VISTA ORCHESTRA

The Buena Vista Orchestra, led by Cuban trombonist and original Buena Vista Social Club musical director Jesús "Aguaje" Ramos, continues the legacy of Havana's golden age of music. With a forthcoming studio album in 2026 on SSK Records and a recent 2025 live album "En Vivo", the ensemble features a revolving lineup of veteran and younger musicians, some with ties to the original Buena Vista Social Club. Their sound is a vibrant exploration of traditional Cuban rhythms like son, bolero, and danzón, infused with contemporary influences and virtuosic musicianship. Expect a rich, soulful, and undeniably danceable experience.
