COCO JAFRO

Vancouver's own Coco Jafro, led by Moroccan-born guitarist Amine Said, is a globe-spanning groove collective known for igniting stages with a fearless fusion of Moroccan wedding rhythms, Latin soul, '60s funk, and acid jazz. Their 2018 release, Forces of Nature, garnered critical recognition including a Best Urban Artist nomination at Breakout West. The band's sound is built on hypnotic guitar lines, Afro-Latin percussion, and vintage keys, all woven into deep-pocket grooves. It’s a high-energy, dancefloor-driven celebration.
