3 INCHES OF BLOOD

Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, 3 Inches of Blood formed in 1999, quickly becoming known for their energetic blend of heavy metal, heavily influenced by the new wave of British heavy metal. Their 2002 debut album, Battlecry Under a Wintersun, released on Teenage Rampage Records, established their dual-vocal attack, featuring Cam Pipes' high-pitched clean vocals. The band, currently consisting of Pipes, Justin Hagberg, Shane Clark, Nick Cates, and Ash Pearson, reunited in 2023 and is scheduled for shows in 2026 and 2027, including a 20th-anniversary celebration of their 2007 album Fire Up the Blades. Their sound is a relentless assault of driving riffs, soaring guitar harmonies, and a powerful rhythm section, delivering a joyous, sword-raising energy.
