WE ARE SCIENTISTS

The New York City-based indie rock band We Are Scientists, formed in Berkeley, California in 1999, are celebrating two decades since their breakout debut, With Love and Squalor, released in 2005 on Virgin Records. Comprising core members Keith Murray on guitar and vocals and Chris Cain on bass, with Keith Carne on drums since 2013, their sound is defined by taut, danceable rock with razor-sharp hooks and witty lyrics. Their upcoming ninth studio album, Qualifying Miles, arrives in July 2025 via Grönland Records, promising a return to their guitar-driven roots. Expect an energetic blend of post-punk revival and melodic indie rock.
