THE MARY WALLOPERS

Hailing from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, The Mary Wallopers are a seven-piece Irish folk group formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy and their friend Sean McKenna in 2016. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2022, followed by the critically acclaimed Irish Rock 'n' Roll in 2023, which saw them making their UK chart debut. The band's sound is a raw, energetic take on traditional Irish folk, infused with a punk spirit, featuring driving rhythms, robust vocals, and traditional instrumentation like the tin whistle and accordion. They are set to release their third album, Paddywhackery, in September 2026, followed by a North American tour in early 2027. Expect a boisterous, authentic pub session brought to the stage.
