THE LIMIÑANAS

Hailing from Cabestany, France, the husband-and-wife duo Lionel and Marie Limiñana have spent over a decade crafting their distinctive blend of psychedelic and garage rock, notably with their 2018 breakout album Shadow People on Because Music. Their sound is a masterclass in cinematic cool, fusing rumbling organ lines, sharp guitar riffs, and a mix of French and English vocals that evoke a vintage, noir-infused atmosphere. With a new live album, Live at Beaubourg, released in June 2026, and their latest studio effort, Faded, from 2025, featuring collaborations with artists like Bobby Gillespie and Jon Spencer, they continue to refine their hypnotic grooves. Expect a sophisticated journey through a hazy, late-night aesthetic.
