THE ANGELS

Adelaide's own The Angels have been a cornerstone of Australian pub rock since their formation in 1974, with their self-titled debut album arriving in 1977 via Albert Productions. Known internationally as Angel City to avoid confusion with other acts, the band's enduring legacy includes their 1990 number-one album Beyond Salvation and an induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1998. Their sound is a no-frills, hard-driving boogie rock, propelled by robust guitar work and an energetic rhythm section. The Angels deliver a raw, powerful live experience.
