KING BUFFALO

Rochester, New York's King Buffalo, formed in 2013, has carved a niche in heavy psychedelic rock, with their 2016 debut album Orion establishing their expansive sound. The trio, comprising Sean McVay (guitar, vocals, synth), Dan Reynolds (bass, synth), and Scott Donaldson (drums), has consistently delivered a blend of hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric textures. Their music builds slowly, with soaring guitar leads and thunderous bass and drums, creating a wall of sound that is both heavy and spacious.
