RUBY WATERS

Shelburne, Ontario native Ruby Waters, born Ruby Komisar, has carved a distinct path in Canadian music since her 2019 debut EP, Almost Naked. With her 2020 follow-up, If It Comes Down to It, earning a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year, Waters has continued to build momentum, releasing her debut full-length album, What's the Point, in 2024 and her forthcoming sophomore album, SUPPRE$$IONS, due January 15, 2027, on Wet Records. Her sound blends raw, bluesy alt-rock with folk and pop, delivered by a smoky, commanding voice that shifts between intimate confessionals and cathartic singalongs. Expect a dynamic performance with percussive guitar work and grooves that swell from introspective to explosive.
