HELENA DELAND

Vancouver-born and Montreal-based, Helena Deland has cultivated a distinctive art-pop sound since her 2016 debut EP, Drawing Room. Her Polaris Prize-longlisted 2020 album, Someone New (Luminelle Recordings), and her 2023 sophomore effort, Goodnight Summerland (Chivi Chivi), showcase her gentle vocal delivery over ethereal, folk-leaning arrangements. Deland's music often features introspective lyrics, airy synths, and acoustic guitar, creating a hazy, understated quality. Expect a tender, poetic, and intimate musical experience.
