ROBIN LAYNE & THE RHYTHM MAKERS

Vancouver's own JUNO-nominated percussionist Robin Layne leads The Rhythm Makers, an ensemble that blurs the lines between jazz, folk, and world music. Since their 2018 debut album Memories and their recent sophomore release Pacifico, the group has become a fixture on the festival circuit, touring across Canada and the USA. Their sound is a vibrant fusion, driven by the warm, melodic tones of the marimba and grounded in global rhythmic traditions from Cuba to West Africa. Expect an uplifting, danceable experience that celebrates rhythm and connection.
