METALLICA

Formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, Metallica quickly became a cornerstone of the thrash metal movement, releasing their debut album Kill 'Em All in 1983 via Megaforce Records. The band, now consisting of Hetfield, Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, continues to tour extensively, with their M72 World Tour supporting their eleventh studio album, 2023's 72 Seasons, released on their own Blackened Recordings label. Their sound is a relentless assault of intricate, high-tempo guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and Hetfield's distinctive vocal delivery, often exploring dark and socially conscious themes. Expect a powerful, high-energy performance from these titans of heavy metal.
