LITTLEFOX

Vancouver's LittleFox, led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alison Jenkins, has been reinventing "Chamber Folk" since her 2021 debut EP, Desire Lines. The band blends roots-y banjo, fiddle, and mandolin with haunting strings, woodwinds, and electric guitar, creating a lush backdrop for Jenkins' vocals, which shift between a whiskey-soaked rasp and an angelic croon. Their live shows bring a passionate energy, whether performing as a compact five-piece or an expanded ten-piece "MegaFox Orchestra." Expect intricately arranged songs that are both intimate and expansive.
