IRON MAIDEN

Formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris, Iron Maiden quickly became pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1980 on EMI Records, launched a career defined by intricate, harmonized guitar melodies and Bruce Dickinson's soaring vocals. Currently on their "Run For Your Lives World Tour" celebrating their 50th anniversary, the band continues to deliver a powerful sound built on driving rhythms and epic, often historically-inspired, narratives. It's a spectacle of enduring heavy metal might.
