Vancouver's Get Back Unplugged is a folk-pop project that reimagines late-period Beatles songs, inspired by the 2021 Peter Jackson documentary. Formed in 2022 by members of The Wahs—Cameron Wilson, Andy Hillhouse, and Brent Gubbels—the group expanded to include LJ Mounteney, Allan Dionne, and David Gibbons, drawing from folk, Celtic, blues, jazz, and classical backgrounds. Their sound emphasizes five-part vocal harmonies and acoustic instrumentation, delivering beloved classics and hidden gems with a fresh, intimate feel. It's a joyful, spontaneous take on familiar tunes.
