FRENCH 79

French 79 is the electronic music project of Simon Henner, a producer and composer from Marseille, France, who previously played guitar and drums in bands like Nasser and Husbands. He launched French 79 in 2014, releasing his debut album Olympic in 2016 on Alter K, followed by Joshua in 2019 and TEENAGERS in 2023. His work often features collaborations with artists such as Sarah Rebecca and Kid Francescoli. Expect arpeggiated synthesizers to build slowly, creating a sense of expansive, cinematic movement.
