FRANK TURNER & THE SLEEPING SOULS

English punk and folk singer-songwriter Francis Edward Turner, born in Bahrain, launched his solo career in 2005 after his post-hardcore band Million Dead split. Accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls, Turner released his debut album, Sleep Is for the Week, in 2007 on Xtra Mile Recordings. Known for his prolific touring, Turner's sound blends punk energy with acoustic folk, delivering anthemic songs with heartfelt, often protest-driven lyrics. He is currently on his "Last Evenings World Tour" in 2027, which will mark an extended hiatus from performing and recording. Expect a passionate performance from a seasoned troubadour.
