ATERCIOPELADOS

Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Aterciopelados, led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, has been a cornerstone of Latin alternative rock since their 1993 debut, Con el Corazón en la Mano. Their sound masterfully fuses rock with diverse Colombian and Latin American traditions, earning them multiple Latin Grammy Awards. Expect a dynamic blend of punk energy, traditional rhythms like cumbia, and socially conscious lyrics, often featuring Echeverri's distinctive vocals over Buitrago's bass-driven arrangements. Their recent EP, Apocalipsis (2025), previews their upcoming album Genes Rebeldes, showcasing their continued evolution. A rich, genre-bending experience.
