ZAPPA NITE

Zappa Nite brings together three Vancouver-based tribute acts—Zappostrophe, UnZappologetic, and Let's Make the Water Turn Black—for an evening dedicated to the eclectic genius of Frank Zappa. These groups, comprising seasoned local musicians, delve into Zappa's vast catalogue, from well-known tracks to deeper cuts. Expect intricate musicality, sharp humour, and a blend of rock, jazz, and experimental sounds that honour the original compositions while adding their own contemporary edge. A night of complex, adventurous, and often whimsical sonic exploration.
