WAAX

Brisbane's WAAX, fronted by the formidable Marie "Maz" DeVita, have been a consistent force in Australian rock since their formation in 2012. Known for their electrifying energy and emotionally charged songwriting, the band gained early recognition with their 2014 debut single "Wisdom Teeth" and continued to build momentum with albums like 2019's Big Grief and their recent 2026 release, Angel's Mess. Their sound blends alternative, indie, and punk rock, driven by DeVita's powerful vocals and honest, often raw, lyrical explorations of internal struggles. Expect a cathartic and high-energy performance.
