TRUE MOUNTAIN LAUREL

Vancouver singer-songwriters Haley Blais and Sam Lynch have joined forces as True Mountain Laurel, a supergroup born from a long-standing friendship and mutual admiration. Their debut album, Angel So Bad, is set to release on August 28, 2026, via Birthday Cake Records. Their sound is a tender, dust-swept exploration of folk reverie and country yearning, blending poetic introspection with razor-sharp lyrical intimacy, supported by acoustic guitars, brushed drums, and pedal steel. It's warm, minimal, and a little bit rough around the edges.
