TOSCA

The Austrian duo Tosca, comprised of Richard Dorfmeister (of Kruder & Dorfmeister fame) and Rupert Huber, has been a consistent force in downtempo electronic music since their 1997 debut album, Opera, released on G-Stone Recordings. Their sound is an atmospheric blend of dub, trip-hop, and ambient techno, often featuring lush, laid-back grooves and intricate soundscapes. Tosca's music invites deep listening, with recent albums like 2022's Osam continuing their exploration of warm, melancholic, and subtly funky textures.
