THE RUBY LANE ORGAN TRIO

The Vancouver-based Ruby Lane Organ Trio, formed in late 2021, comprises organist Erik Reimers, guitarist Jim Flaming, and drummer Marke Andrews. Inspired by jazz legends like Jimmy Smith and Brother Jack McDuff, the trio reinterprets classic tunes and explores new directions. Their sound features deep, gritty Hammond organ basslines, intricate guitar work, and versatile drumming that effortlessly shifts between swing, funk, pop, and Afro-Cuban rhythms.
