THE NICK GREEN QUARTET

Brooklyn-born alto saxophonist Nick Green leads his quartet, bringing a deep affinity for the jazz tradition to the stage. A disciple of Charles McPherson, Green released his debut album, Green on the Scene, in 2023, featuring an all-star New York City band including drum legend Kenny Washington. His sound blends hard-swinging bebop lineage with a warm, robust tone and intricate improvisational explorations. Expect an evening of classic, straight-ahead jazz with a fresh energy.
