THE MODELOS

Vancouver's own "Rock 'n' Roll Cowboy Surfers," The Modelos, formed in 2004 with Joe Rotundo and Mike Kenney, later joined by Brad Ferguson and Geoff Hicks. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2006, followed by 2008's Saddle Justice and the 2019 EP Barrel Fever. The band crafts a distinctive sound, blending surf-instrumentals with an alternative country edge, creating a gritty, reverb-drenched sonic landscape. Expect spirited energy and a sound built for a good time.
