THE HARD ROCK MINERS

The Hard Rock Miners, formed in Vancouver in 1987, are a Canadian rockabilly, hillbilly, country, and folk band known for their energetic live shows and sing-alongs. Their 1992 album, The Final Frontier, released on Epic/Sony Music Canada, was named one of "The 50 albums that shaped Vancouver" by the Georgia Straight. Their sound blends electrified bluegrass instrumentation with speedy, punked-up versions of country, funk, and pop classics.
