THE FAUX PAWS

The Faux Paws, an innovative folk and roots trio, features brothers Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand, originally from upstate New York, alongside GRAMMY®-nominated saxophonist Chris Miller. After a decade of collaboration, their self-titled debut LP was released on August 27, 2021, via Great Bear Records. Their sound is a dynamic blend of traditional and original tunes, incorporating raging fiddle, intricate guitar, and unexpected saxophone flourishes, often with Noah's rhythmic foot percussion. It's a joyful and distinctive collection, deeply rooted in the raw humanity of folk dance and music traditions.
