The Brooklyn-formed duo Sungazer, featuring bassist Adam Neely and drummer Shawn Crowder, has spent the last decade forging a distinctive sound in modern progressive jazz fusion since their first EP release in 2014. Their debut full-length album, Perihelion, arrived in 2021, co-produced and mixed by Simon Grove. Sungazer's music masterfully blends hard-hitting jazz fusion, progressive rock, 8-bit, and EDM, exploring the human element of improvisation within electronic music.
