SAINT LEVANT

Born Marwan Abdelhamid in Jerusalem, Saint Levant quickly became known for his trilingual (English, French, and Arabic) rap, with his 2022 breakout single "Very Few Friends" going viral. His music, released on labels like Universal Arabic Music, explores themes of identity and heritage, notably on his 2024 debut album Deira and the recent 2026 release Afandi. He crafts a sound that blends 1980s funk with traditional Palestinian and Algerian rhythms, marked by smooth vocals and a contemporary hip-hop sensibility. This creates a deeply personal expression of modern Arab culture.
