ROMARE

The UK-based electronic producer Archie Fairhurst, known as Romare, has carved a niche with his collage-like approach to music, drawing inspiration from African-American visual culture and artist Romare Bearden. Since his 2015 debut album Projections on Ninja Tune, he's consistently blended left-field house and downtempo with jazz, disco, and psychedelic influences. His sound is a meticulously crafted tapestry of samples and live instrumentation, featuring rubbery basslines, intricate rhythms, and warm analogue textures. Expect a journey through soulful, expertly produced electronic soundscapes.
