Thousand Oaks, California native Olivia Gail O'Brien broke through in 2016 with her feature on Gnash's "I Hate U, I Love U," which hit the Billboard Hot 100 top ten and led to a deal with Island Records. Her debut album, Was It Even Real?, arrived in 2019, followed by her 2026 sophomore release, Pixie, on Gamma. O'Brien's sound blends alt-pop and R&B with introspective, emotionally vulnerable songwriting, often delivered with a distinct, slightly nasal vocal tone. Expect a night of confessional pop with an indie rock edge.
