METAL CHURCH AND ARMORED SAINT

Metal Church, formed in San Francisco in 1980 by guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, quickly became integral to the burgeoning Seattle heavy metal scene, releasing their self-titled debut in 1984 on Ground Zero Records. Los Angeles's Armored Saint, founded in 1982 by brothers Phil and Gonzo Sandoval, alongside John Bush and Joey Vera, made their mark with the 1983 self-titled EP on Metal Blade. Both bands are currently on "The Metal Saint Tour 2026," with Metal Church having recently released Dead To Rights and Armored Saint Emotion Factory Reset. Expect a night of classic, driving heavy metal with powerful vocals and intricate, aggressive guitar work.
