MARLIN & SALSA BEAT

Vancouver's own Marlin Ramazzini, a Juno Award nominee and recipient of the Vancouver Inspirational Latin Awards, leads Marlin & Salsa Beat, a group that has become a pillar of the local Latin music scene since her arrival in 1990. Under the musical direction of her husband, Juno Award-winning bassist and composer Fito Garcia, the band delivers a sound rooted in Cuban son, cha cha cha, and mambo. Expect a vibrant blend of traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms and a powerful, sensuous vocal performance. Pure gozadera.
