LUIS MELGAR AND CAM HENDERSON

Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist Luis Melgar and Victoria-born trombonist Cam Henderson are both Capilano University jazz program alumni, each having become fixtures in the local scene. Melgar, a pianist, trombonist, and vocalist, is known for his versatility, while Henderson has earned a Master's in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas and played with the esteemed One O'Clock Lab Band. Together, they pay homage to the classic trombone arrangements of jazz legends J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, delivering a sound that is both technically refined and deeply swinging.
