L.A.B.

Hailing from Whakatāne, New Zealand, L.A.B. formed in 2016 with Brad and Stu Kora (of Kora), Joel Shadbolt, Ara Adams-Tamatea (formerly of Katchafire), and Miharo Gregory. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2017 via Loop Recordings, and they've since become a consistent presence on the New Zealand charts, with "In the Air" topping the singles chart in 2020. The band crafts a unique blend of reggae, blues, funk, rock, and electronic elements, delivering a sound that is both soulful and rhythmically intricate. Expect a dynamic live performance with deep grooves and soaring vocals.
