KID FRANCESCOLI

Marseille-based musician Mathieu Hocine, known as Kid Francescoli, has carved a distinct niche in electropop since his 2006 self-titled debut album. His career saw a significant boost with the viral success of "Moon (And It Went Like)" from his 2017 album, Play Me Again, and he continues to evolve his sound with his upcoming seventh studio album, A Kind Wave, set for release in October via All Night Long/Believe France. His music blends contemplative electronics with emotional songwriting, often featuring collaborations with vocalists like Julia Minkin and Andréa Durand. Expect sun-drenched melodies, intricate synth work, and a cinematic, elegant atmosphere.
