JESSE ROPER

Victoria, BC native Jesse Roper has carved out a notable place in Canada's independent music scene, known for his electrifying performances and soulful sound since his 2013 debut album, Son of John. Roper's sound is a fusion of rock, blues, and roots music, blending gritty riffs, nimble slide work, and full-throated vocals. He has recently released the EP Daisy Wake Up in May 2026 and the single "Wolverine" in September 2026, both on Blue Heron Music. His live shows are a high-energy, roots-driven experience, swerving from foot-stomping barnburners to slow-burn soul.
