JAZZ JAM

Vancouver's own David Sikula Trio, featuring Sikula on guitar alongside Sean Cronin on bass and Dan Gaucher on drums, is a cornerstone of the local jazz scene, known for their deep reverence for jazz classics and original compositions. Pianist Jillian Lebeck, a Berklee College of Music alumna, made waves with her debut album "Living in Pieces" on Maximum Jazz/Universal, which topped national radio charts. Her trio offers a sound inspired by cinematic scope, European classical jazz, and modern jazz, with a recent project, "Songs and Melodies," released in 2007. Together, these artists deliver a dynamic interplay of intricate melodies and robust rhythms, creating a sophisticated and immersive jazz experience.
