HOUNDMOUTH

Hailing from New Albany, Indiana, Houndmouth has cultivated a reputation for their distinctive blend of alternative blues and rock since their formation in 2011. The band, currently featuring Matt Myers, Caleb Hickman, and Zac Anderson, gained early traction with their 2013 debut album, From the Hills Below the City, released on Rough Trade. Their sound is a rootsy mix of Americana, indie rock, and country-folk elements, often propelled by soulful harmonies and a raw, live-in-the-room feel. Their latest album, Lordy, released in July 2026 via Dualtone Records, sees them embracing a stripped-back, emotionally direct approach. Expect a performance that feels both familiar and freshly honest.
