FLOWER FACE

Ruby McKinnon, known as Flower Face, is a Montreal-based goth-folk musician who has been crafting melancholic soundscapes since her 2014 debut EP, Funeral Kid. Her critically acclaimed 2022 album, The Shark in Your Water, and recent 2024 release, Girl Prometheus, showcase her evolution on the Nettwerk Music Group label. Her sound blends ethereal, introspective lyrics with acoustic instrumentation and a touch of bedroom pop, often exploring themes of love and loss. It's a raw, emotionally resonant experience, perfectly suited for the intimate setting of The Fox Cabaret.
