FEDERICO COLLI

The Brescia, Italy-born classical pianist Federico Colli has earned international acclaim for his distinctive interpretations, notably winning the Gold Medal at the 2012 Leeds International Piano Competition. An exclusive Chandos Records artist, his 2018 debut album of Scarlatti sonatas was named "Recording of the Year" by Presto Classical, with a second volume in 2020 selected as one of BBC Music Magazine's best classical albums. Colli's playing is marked by a crystalline brilliance and a deeply philosophical approach, bringing a fresh perspective to established repertoire. His performances offer a chance to experience piano artistry that is both technically impeccable and profoundly expressive, well-suited for the intimate setting of the Vancouver Playhouse.
