DAX

St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador native Daniel Nwosu Jr., known as Dax, has carved a unique path in hip-hop since his 2017 breakout with "Cash Me Outside." Initially gaining traction through viral freestyles and high-concept videos, he signed with Living Legends Entertainment for his 2021 debut album, Pain Paints Paintings, and later with Columbia Records. His sound blends rapid-fire lyrical delivery with introspective, often faith-driven storytelling, evident in tracks like the platinum-selling "Dear Alcohol" and his recent 2024 album, From a Man's Perspective. Expect a powerful, emotionally charged performance, well-suited for the intimate yet impactful setting of the Vogue Theatre.
